- Exterior Wind-Cold Deficiency pattern
- Sweating, aversion to cold, fever, headache
2. Warms the channels and Disperses Cold:
- Wind-Cold-Damp painful obstruction (Bi syndrome) in joints and limbs e.g. shoulders
- Gynaecological disorders due to Cold obstructing the Blood and causing Qi and Blood Stasis e.g. dysmenorrhoea
3. Unblocks the flow of Yang-Qi and Transforms Qi:
- For oedema from accumulation of Cold-Phlegm or poor circulation of Yang Qi
